Verb stem + -았/었으면 좋겠다(요)
Use this to express a hope or wish about something you want to happen. Milder and more personal than a direct request.

Negative wish · 안 ~으면 좋겠다Add 안 before the verb to wish something WON'T happen:
비가 안 왔으면 좋겠어요. (I hope it doesn't rain.)

Formality · 격식Casual (반말): ~으면 좋겠어
