-지 못하다Cannot do (due to circumstances)

-지 못하다 means you physically or situationally cannot do something. It's interchangeable with 못+verb but slightly more formal.

예문

• 나는 찬 음식은 먹지 못해.I can't eat cold food (my body won't allow it).
• 오늘은 가지 못해요.I can't go today (something's stopping me).
• 한국어를 잘 하지 못해요.I can't speak Korean well.
